The Story
Doug the shoe bill stork wasn't known for his grace. He waddled more than he walked, his giant clog-like beak constantly threatening to topple him over. Tourists often mistook him for a malfunctioning vacuum cleaner, with his loud snorts and constant head bobbing. But beneath the goofy exterior, Doug was a master fisherman. With lightning speed, that ridiculous beak could snatch a catfish right out of the water before the poor fish even knew what hit it. You had to respect a bird who could look so hilarious and still be the apex predator of the pond. Doug does personal income taxes and hates his day job. He also enjoys roller derby on the weekends and collects snow globes and vintage concert tees.
